Today I have my design team contribution for Happy Little Stampers Anything goes with dies blog.
This month I actually ended up making four cards. This is because I got a little carried away with the Boho Indigo kit and adding in fun other colours to the Navy and Cream scheme of this kit.
These are the first two I made. I used pieces that my friend had gifted me from the Boho Indigo kit when she made me a Pocket Letter. I added the text paper behind it from my stash and the yellow cardstock and flowers and a few other random diecuts like the leaf sprigs from Forever Flourishing and the flowers from the Wreath Builder dies.
I decided I wanted to add plenty of dimension and also some cute ribbons to my projects… and also gold pen for edging pieces and adding that bit of bling. I used glossy accents for some shine and dimension on the vase on the one above. On the one below the glossy accents added the centre to the flowers.
Both cards I finished with the anniversary sentiment as I think this bright and elegant vase of flowers would be a lovely anniversary gift!
The second set of cards I used Magenta Madness and Coastal Cabana (and a pop of Calypso Coral) for the additional colours.
These change up the little panels of Boho Indigo completely. Love how the bright colours work with the more muted navy and cream patterned paper and die cut elements.
On these two cards I also added some liquid pearls for the accents and turned them both into Congratulations cards.
Sentiment stamps for both were from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
So a different project this month as there are four cards to choose from… I wonder which is your favourite… I think mine is the coastal cabana one… but then again I do love the yellow ones too!
