So as regular readers will know I have been using my happy planner for doing some weekly mixed media spreads… so I thought i would use the inspiration a friend Sheila provides with her inchie calendar and do the same for the monthly spread… but the size of the squares is not quite 2×2 inches… in fact it’s 1 and 7 eighths!
So I’ve been making almost twinchies every day… sometimes they mean or represent the day in some way, other times the are just scraps and fun bits of art.
So this was June.. Love how fun they all look together!
So I’m still going with my Happy Planner… here are a few more spreads. This one I incorporated a Gorjuss girl stamp and some patterned paper from the stash along with the Art by Marlene stickers and some block stickers from Ikea. I cut the flower images out of the patterned paper and this provided some nice relief images to break up the blocks.I decided to use some gingham washi and orange washi too. Then when using the pen in it I also added some colour using the Stampin write marker to add more of the peachy orange into it.Then there is this monthly for May using mainly stickers from Ikea and some Tim Holtz snippets stickers.Next up was the last few days of April/beginning of May. I decided to use the bold letter patterned tape I got for a secret Santa present as the starting point and then some box stickers from Ikea.
I then added some Tim Holtz quote stickers and lots of heart stickers along with some random stickers I have had a long time. Functional and cute!
