Hello there! Happy Monday! Every week I think of Shaun Ryder when I type this … This is becoming quite disturbing! So to get his image out of my head lets get on with some colour shall we?
Oh yes … A lovely REGAL colour!
I actually ended up using a bit of a class kit for a class of Helen’s I never made it to, but still wanted the kit for … Only thing was this was in the midst of the craft room being created and so never got round to making the cards I should have … And when I found the Crushed Curry cardstock I thought immediately of what to do with it!
I kept the layer of cardstock simple, and added the layer of Watercolour wonder dsp which Helen had provided, taking a moment to ink the edge with Pear Pizazz before I adhered it. Then a piece of Whisper White which I also inked the edge of and stamped the beautiful flower from Simply Sketched stamp set in the Crushed Curry before adding the watercolour effect with the ink and the aqua painter. I then stamped the sentiment in the green to give it some balance.
The finishing touch was to add the candy dots … Although I think they were Always Artichoke one I went for in the end… But still I like them all together.
