Time to make a pretty card

My parents asked me to make a golden wedding anniversary card for their friends and I finally got round to it.

I used the Hello Doily stamp (pinched it back off the lose it pile!) And the Everything Eleanor swirl.  Then I brushed round the edge with the stencil brushes.

Next I added a die cut panel using the Apothecary Accents and brushed that too.  Then added a little bit of stamping using Timeless Textures and Butterfly Basics to add a bit of pattern.

The anniversary panel was die cut from the same cardstock as the mount and then added the little bow and some gold peel offs as accents.

I so rarely use peel offs but in this case it seemed to be the best idea and worked really nicely.

So I hope that they like this for their friends and it is a fitting celebration of 50 years of marriage.

Happy crafting!

A special wedding card

Whilst I have been off sick from work one of my lovely work friends got married.  Here is the card I made for them…

I used some Hunkydory papers/card I found in my stash and layered it up with white linen cardstock on the 8×8 card blank.

I stamped the fabulous Mr & Mrs stamp in Pool Party that teamed with the papers and added some pool party ribbons and some die cut flourishes from Crafters Companion.

I also added a doily and some pearl gems.  Then I chose some flowers and made a little bundle of them with a bit of pearl trim to finish off!

So lovely delicate card for the loving pair… who hopefully will forgive me for being almost 2 months late in giving it to them!

Happy crafting!
