Digital stamps, Spectrum noir pencils

Playing … always fun!

Today I have a card I made just because I was playing at my desk!

After layering up the main sentiment focal point I decided I wanted there to be another image so chose this lovely digi from All Dressed up that I had coloured in spectrum noir pencils.

I’ve been colouring in front of the tv quite a bit the past few weeks so I have a stock of digi images coloured in and ready to craft with now!

Anyway finishing touches were the sequins which I filled with glossy accents as it adds an extra element of fun!

Happy crafting!

Happy birthday Big Bro

It was my brothers birthday a few days ago and I made this card for him.  No idea why but the grumpy looking dog made me think of him! Ha Ha Ha!

I used some pieces of patterned paper and scrap cardstock to make the background and the mat for the image and I did the partial die cutting technique so that his ear came out of the oval shape.

I coloured the inage using my spectrum noir pencils.

I added a tiny drop of glossy accents to the dogs pupils too to add some dimension.

Cute and fun and hopefully my brother liked his card.

Happy crafting!

Sparkle simply ATC #221

Another ATC to share with you. This was a doodles background I made with spectrum noir pencils. I added some book print and stencilled the black circles. I then added my handcarved stamp girl who I coloured with inks. I then added a generous amount of sparkle and a flower embellishment and of course the title!

Finished off with a sponged edge.

Happy crafting!

Doodles butterfly atc #214

Today we’ve been out all day at Chester Zoo which was fabulous.  I’ve taken loads of pics which I will share once edited.

No crafting today so happy I have a project already made to share with you.

I took a piece of the patterned paper I had cut from a book and then went to town with doodles. I then added colour with spectrum noir pencils and black and white pen marks.

Fun!

Happy crafting!

ATCs using Trish Latimer stamps 209 & 210

Yesterday I shared some ATCs I made using new stamps I had got from Trish Latimer. But it wasn’t my first use of them…

I actually filmed my first use!  And this is what I made…

This is coloured with promarkers and then collaged onto the background. The background has a spritz of the mica spray and then stamped the stitched circles from Artful Days Goodie box.

Then this one I stamped directly onto the background and coloured using the spectrum noir pencils.

Love these stamps and can see me grabbing them often to use on ATCs and cards!

A bulk load of random ATC’S 107-116

I caught up with a few random ATC’S last weekend…. no themes… just playing with bits and pieces on the desk!

Texture paste and stencilling and bistre powder and gilding wax… interesting combo!

Gelli print on book print and a Crazy cat Coloured with Spectrum noir pencils! Fun!

Painty background, stamping and some opal magic paint highlights.

Same as above! Just different stamping.

Mish mash of backgrounds and techniques finished with heat embossing.

A gorgeous butterfly embellishment I received in a swap with a few layers underneath.

More embossing on painty layers.

A fun flower on a Gelli print background.

A piece of master board I created for a circle journal finishes with a rub on doodled flower.

Paint and tissue and stamping … oh and a butterfly …. what more could you want? Love these Finnabair stamps.

That’s me for today… another 10 for the tally… all of which listed onto swap sites so who knows where they will end up?!?

Happy crafting!

DT: Fab’n’funky: cute puppy dog

Hi there. It’s been a little while since I’ve done a DT project for Fab’n’Funky mainly due to stuff going on in the real world that I have had to take priority. But I am back and have this gorgeous Puppy dog card I made using a digital stamp from All Dressed Up. I love this image.

It really is so cute. I coloured it in using Spectrum Noir pencils and then cut it out. I decided it needed a funky mixed media background so used the Fresco finish paints and some stamps to create a background and then used a die cut to put a panel behind the puppy.

I brushed both the card blank, the sentiment and the die cut panel with a stencil brush to give some depth.

The challenge for this week is Add a Sentiment.  Mine is a stamped one I punched out.  What would yours be?

Head over to the blog to see what everyone else chose.

Happy crafting!
