Alphabet ATC 277 – 286

Today I have some ATCs to share today made for a fun swap I am involved in… an alphabet swap!  The plan is to make an ATC for each of the letters of the alphabet… or at least as many as I can… this is where I am up to.

A is for aeroplane…

B is for butterfly … (this might look familiar as I actually shared this a few days ago!)

E is for elephant…

F is for flowers…

G is for giraffe…

H is for house….

O is for owl…

P is for puppy…

Q is for queen…

R is for rabbit…

So this is the progress so far… I have a while before I have to finish the rest and I already have another few in progress. Cam imagine that the more unusual letters will make for some challenges!!!  So pleased I moved away from being OCD and creating them in order… this is so much more fun doing them a bit at a time.

Will make sure I share the next batch when they are finished.

Happy crafting!

More brusho wonder!

Not late this time, but a card handed over this weekend, this time for my gorgeous great Nephew George who turned 2 today. Once again I was using more of the Brusho backgrounds left from playing with Linda’s set.  Just love the effects!

This time I used yellow and red and a little of the turquoise Brusho to create this explosion of colour.  Then added the funky giraffe from the Animal stories stamp set.  All of the sentiment was made using fabulous Roald Dahl letter stamps I’ve had for ages and for some reason never used.  Aren’t they fabulous?

I added the panel onto some embossed card and then used a bright green card blank to keep with the funky finish.  I am sure this bright explosion of a card suits this particular great nephew perfectly!

Card in a box for baby Josslyn

One of my friends at work has recently had a gorgeous baby girl, Josslyn.  She also admired the card in a box I made for my cousins little boy.  So I thought as a little treat for her first trip into work with baby Josslyn (that I unfortunately had to miss as had meetings out of the building that day) I would make a card for her to open!

Here is the starting point…

Using Strawberry slush, Crisp Canteloupe and Bermuda Bay inks I stamped using the embossing folders the backgrounds in a technique I will be teaching at the next art journalling session.  Creates such a cool effect.  These were then added to the constructed box.

Next I stamped and cut out lots of cute embellishments.  Heart based things from Language of love, little bunting banners from Henry Says, and the animals from a retired set called Animal Stories.  I kept to the same colour scheme for everything, strawberry slush, crisp Canteloupe, lost lagoon, Bermuda bay.  I didn’t want it to be pastels as such, but more bright pastels as they seem more Mish and Jody’s style!

Next I started decorating the box… Here are the sides…

I added sentiments from a couple of different sets I have got.

Then the front from slightly different angles…

Really pleased with how this came out.  Cute but funky at the same time!

Fingers crossed next time Josslyn comes to visit work I will be there to say hello in person and dole out many cuddles!

Happy crafting!
