Animal Stories, Masks/Stencils

Welcome little Penelope

My lovely friend and hairdresser Robyn, gave birth to the beautiful little Penelope a few weeks ago. Of course I am super jealous I can’t go and get my fill of baby cuddles, but I did drop round a card and a present to welcome the new arrival.

Here is the card I made…

I used a really old stamp set which I have kept for the cute animals which make fab baby cards. This time I chose to use the giraffe. I used Petal Pink cardstock and added some inking through a flower stencil, then used white for the focal image panel and gave it a vellum mat to soften the edges.

Love how cute this is.

Circus ATCs – Artful ATC swap

February’s theme for the Artful ATC swap group is Circus. I joined in the swap at the last minute and so pleased I did as I love the cards I made…

The first one was a scrap of paper I had brayered on and I love the stripes as it made me think of a big top.

I added the elephant stamped from the Animal Stories set and then created a stripey podium for him to stand on! I added glossy accents to make it dimensional and shiny. Then added the card candi as the juggling balls!

The other one I found some circus themed papers and added them decided to add texture with my sewing machine.

Then I hand stamped the sentiment to add too.

Happy crafting!

Alphabet ATC 277 – 286

Today I have some ATCs to share today made for a fun swap I am involved in… an alphabet swap!  The plan is to make an ATC for each of the letters of the alphabet… or at least as many as I can… this is where I am up to.

A is for aeroplane…

B is for butterfly … (this might look familiar as I actually shared this a few days ago!)

E is for elephant…

F is for flowers…

G is for giraffe…

H is for house….

O is for owl…

P is for puppy…

Q is for queen…

R is for rabbit…

So this is the progress so far… I have a while before I have to finish the rest and I already have another few in progress. Cam imagine that the more unusual letters will make for some challenges!!!  So pleased I moved away from being OCD and creating them in order… this is so much more fun doing them a bit at a time.

Will make sure I share the next batch when they are finished.

Happy crafting!
