One more gorgeous brusho card sample. This time Paperartsy Hot Picks stamped sorted in Versamark and embossed with white detail powder. Then added the Brusho and plenty of water to give it more of a watercolour finish. I edged the panel using navy ink.
Then I added some DSP and card stock and ribbon and card candi to embellish.
I then used the same stamp and the navy ink to create the image on the envelope.
Next I decided it needed a sentiment so used the Four frames to create the topper.
Love how this came out.
Entering this into the flowers challenge at Paperartsy. Nice easy challenge to join in with and have a few more I will blog about in the next couple of days to join in! Loved the samples Leandra showed on the video this week. Made me NEED more stamps!
I have one more sample left from last weeks class to share… A birthday card topper made using a gelato background.
I made a fun background using a couple of colours and then stamped the silhouette stamps.
Great fun and easy!
Today is the birthday of one of the princess’ friend, Kaspa. So of course I had to make a fun birthday card!
I decided on some Simply Stars images, some chevron ribbon and the funky paper from the Summer Smooches DSP teamed with some black and the Four frames set to create this little lovely!
The Figgy Pudding lane embossing folder by Sheena Douglass is sooooooo cool! I just had to have it!
Here is the first play creation…
Distress inks, water, and brush… Then gorgeous grunge and whisper white craft ink for the base mat and some brushed gold cardstock for the middle layer. Four frames & Thats the Ticket make the sentiment topper and some scraps of ribbon to finish off!
Today my little baby is 8!!! I can’t believe it! Doesn’t seem long since she was a babe in arms … But given she is a tall girl, and I am a shortie, it won’t be long before she is towering above me I know! Goodness help me then!
So of course, my princess got made a special card!
Packed full of Petite Petals with a cute bird (Language of Friendship) and butterfly (Papillion Pot Pourri). With some nice texture in the background using both Hardwood & Woodgrain.
Love how it came out! Almost as much as I love the girl herself!
Ps little update photo that shows all the dimension in the card!
