I joined Lisa (Lollipop Box Club) for a Sunday afternoon craftalong on zoom and did three pages whilst people chatted and shared what they were upto. It was great fun. Lisa gave us two challenges…
Challenge 1
The first one was a 30 min challenge where we had to use something bin worthy, 2 circles, have 3 places to journal and use no more than 4 colours (excluding black and white).

We were given 10 mins to grab stash and decide on our project. I went for my latest junk journal made with lots of different random papers off the desk in which I’ve decided to document trips in the UK. I grabbed papers and bits from the last Lollipop Box Club kit … including a scrap of fabric that otherwise would have ended up in the bin as too small to use.

I die cut circles from the paper, layered up the tissue and some papers onto the page… my colours were blue, green, yellow and Kraft.
I loved creating the two pockets for journalling tags… the small one and the large tag.
I hadn’t quite finished the tag decorating and journalling when the 30 mins was up but by the time we got to sharing it was all completely finished… and the glue on the sequins was dry! Result!
Challenge 2
The 2nd challenge was a sketch provided by Korrieanncreations with some added bits… use string, stripes, stickers, staples.
For this I worked in my Christmas themed journal and documented my daughters first Christmas Dinner.

I didn’t quite follow the sketch exact… I didn’t add the bottom left cluster but loved what I did create. I also added the journalling into a little pocket on the left hand side which was extra. Love how the crochet trim from another page still works with this page too.
Finally… a third page just created whilst chatting…

This was back in the UK trip junk journal and again used bits from the last lollipop box club kit… I love those cameras on the paper… perfect for capturing the story of my daughter taking this picture.
All in all a lovely afternoon. So pleased I joined as I was close to chickening out as I didn’t know anyone but it was all friendly and felt really comfortable in everyone’s company.
Happy crafting!
