Brushos ATC’s flower numbers

Hello.

It’s been a little while since I shared a video with you… so today I have one making three ATCs for the UK stampers forum swap. And as per the theme of the last few days I have been a bit brusho mad!

So follow along with my process on the video.. and here is the final results

Really happy with all of these and how bright and cheery they ended up.

Happy crafting!

Using some masterboard pieces

When I got some new stash I had a play on camera and made this masterboard using the Seth Apter paints and embossing powders…

Well I finally got around to using some it.

I made a couple of cards using it and some other bits and pieces from the stash…

Card one features a butterfly stamped and embossed using the same Seth Apter embossing powders and a little tag and doily added for more texture and to make it very pretty!

Card 2 has a very very very embossed heart die cut on it and a black circle for contrast.

Absolutely adore the layers in the embossed heart. So scrummy!

So there is still some masterboard to use up but here are two of the finished pieces at least!

Happy crafting!

Stars can’t shine tag

Another swap project…. This time a tag for UK stampers forum and the theme was anything goes… so i stuck the video on so you can watch the process… here.

And this is what I made…

Love all the textures and layers of colour and that embossing powder is amazing! I adore it!

So happy with how this came out and fun to make.

Petal Palette art journal piece

I made an art journal page and used my current favourite and go to stamp set for the feature… Petal Palette.

I made this with the video running so you can check out the progress here.

Love the layers, textures and the gentle images I used with this warm colour palette.

And that sentiment spoke to me perfectly at that moment… always a good way to choose your title for your piece!

Hope you like it. It was originally destined for a swap but then I realised that I had misunderstood the rules and that blue needed to be in the page…. ooops…. ah well a thoroughly enjoyable piece to make regardless. Once I realised that I found the perfect place to put the page in my journal… which covered some stamping I wasn’t keen on!

52 mixed media cards week 7… make your mark

When Chris gave the prompt of Make Your Mark for this week’s 52 mixed media cards challenge I knew I would be going for some Seth Apter style work… especially as I had also just got some new stash to play with!

I didn’t video the process for making the ATC but did make the background on camera as I played with the stash for the first time… here is the linkto the long video of me experimenting with new stash.

Anyway the following day I grabbed 10 mins to make the ATC from the masterboard background and some other bits and pieces.

I am completely in love with the Seth Apter embossing powders… perfect for grungy embellishments like this heart.

The other part to the circle journal

Earlier this week I shared the page I made in Marie’s journal… well I had to do both sides of the envelope so today I am sharing what I did with the other side. I also have an apology for the wobbly video as I kept bashing the camera! Ooops.

Anyway… check out the video here to see the process…

And here is the final piece…

Absolutely love this … and the fact it is such a contrast to the other side of the envelope. This side was a much softer page and more about nature and flowing … the other side more graphic and edgy…. which do I prefer? Neither and that is the joy of art journalling… Everything can be different and take you in a different direction and style.

Here is a close up of the yummy textures and colours…

Happy crafting!
