Cottage flower dies

Today I have two more card using that Crafters Companion paper that I was gifted and decided to blog them as one post as I used the same paper and the same die set and a similar font sentiment for both … so why not!

First up … lots of scraps and bits and bobs for the cluster for this one and then the star of the show … Cottage flowers dies. So sweet these intricate dies. I did of course stack the die cuts to make them more sturdy and give them dimension.

The sentiment I embossed with gold directly onto the dsp layer and had the layer go from top to bottom with a border of the card blank on either side.

I know I’ve used this ruffled ribbon a few times now but love it on the edge of panels peeping out like this… so cute.

Right the second card is the usual A6 size.

This time the front panel is cut a little short and embossed with the Old paper folder then the dsp and the die cuts have a base of the kraft. The sentiment is again gold embossed but this time on a different strip.

I chose a different ribbon and added two small pieces to add texture of a different kind behind the focal point.

I also added that flat flower sequin to add a touch more gold.

Love how these both came out. Mainly just layers and blocks of papers but those cute die cuts just do all the work!

Happy crafting!

Catherine
