Masterboard part 5

A while ago I made a masterboard inspired by a Jennifer McGuire video … well I set aside the last 2 panels and have now finished off using them to create these two cards. Actually managed to get to craft this weekend so hoping to get back to daily posting!

I kept them both pretty simple and allowed the backgrounds to show off by just adding a stamped image, a sentiment and little embellishment.

The green I added to some white cardstock and then added the Christmas Flower stamp from Altenew which I had stamped on a scrap of cardstock which I had wiped the brayer off when creating these backgrounds. This just added some subtle colour on this.

I did add the green ribbon and then the sentiment from the same Altenew set.

The red card I embossed the image in white onto the same wipe off piece of cardstock.

I created another sentiment stamping onto white and then layered on a piece of inked cardstock scrap to coordinate. I added the sparkly rose gold die cut circles as embellishments.

So that’s this piece of Masterboard finished off and nine cards in total made from the two pieces of A4 I created. Love these. Thanks for Jennifer for inspiring me to just have fun and get inky. I also love the mica spray idea to make the whole piece super sparkly!

Happy crafting!

Catherine
