Todays project was one where I tried to just get some patterned paper used and wanted to grab some dies I don’t often use. I started with two pieces of 12×12 and then cut enough to make multiple cards but in this session stuck to the three which took me around an hour and fifteen minutes.

First up the trees which are very old dies I have for a long time in my stash.

I edged the patterned paper with black and then created the oval panel to add the trees to. I used some old glitter glue to add sparkle to the trees and I had added light amounts of ink to both the oval and the trees too.

I used the lawn Fawn die cut word on all three cards.
The second card was using the fiddly trees from the Tim Holtz Moose die set.

I kept it quite simple otherwise with the die cut sentiment and the stamped sentiment.

I once again used glitter glue on the trees but with all that patterned paper and the fiddly trees that pretty much did it for me!

The final card is by far my favourite because I love that moose!

He is just so cute! He is a little fiddly to put together as those final elements are tiny … but I think worth it!

Adding ink to him really helps bring him to life too!

With hindsight I wish I’d added the sentiment with a white die cut rather than the Kraft but otherwise love this!
I did cut into new Kraft cardstock but otherwise all the die cut elements were cut from scraps and I’m pleased to have got some more of the old paper stash used up. Plus from that Kraft I had leftover I spent a bit of time die cutting a few more moose so they are ready to go for the next time I want to use him!
Once again I managed to film the process and so check out the video on YouTube.
Happy crafting!
