Christmas in July – 5

Today’s project is an inky one which turned out to be quite cute!

I mean those gingerbread men are so cute!

I started by creating an inky background with a few green distress inks and then went to town stamping before I chopped it into two panels.

I ran both panels through the embossing folder and then added more distress ink on the top to add definition to the texture.

I then die cut the holly leaves from the mop up paper and the gingerbread men from Kraft and grabbed the labels from the ready die cut pieces.

I also added a scrap of ribbon to each to bring in the colour contrast.

I used my posca paint pen to add the details to the gingerbread man and the paperartsy sentiment was stamped in oxide ink.

Mounted both panels of Kraft to finish off.

Love how sweet these cards ended up and good to use those dies I’ve not used for ages too!

Please check out my YouTube video for seeing how it came together.

Happy crafting!
