Scrappin Saturday – Je t’aime amour

I realised yesterday I hadn’t done my scrappin Saturday post and so after a little afternoon nap post work I grabbed a page kit I had put together (a few papers and the photo were all that were in the kit at this point) and set to! I recorded it as a video and you can find that over on YouTube!

I used as the main background the fabulous green page from the expressions of ink set from Stampin Up – these are a good few years old and I have been hoarding them as I love them but it was time to get this used!

I teamed it with black elements and then a pop of the coral.

I also added in the white trim from a Hey Little Magpie embellishment kit and then lots of stickers and bits from the box of embellishments I have.

I love the gold puffy sticker picking up the gold foiling in the paper.

It wasn’t a difficult page to put together – to be honest that background paper did all of the work really! Didn’t want to cover too much of it!

I did add a few enamel accents blobs to finish off as again I didn’t want gems to take away from the gold in the background and just wanted a few spots of black to finish off.
