Whilst I had a few scraps of paper leftover from the patterned paper project from the beginning of the month I decided to make these start on a tag for this months decorated tag swap at UK stampers forum.
Totally different finish to the project I made at the beginning of the month with mixing up papers and then doing some rough and fun glimmer stripes in the background using the Matt white foil and the stripe of colour glimmer plates.
I then added a panel of the blue cardstock to ground my elements on to as it was such a busy background.
I chose to stamp and emboss the leaves from the Splendid thoughts stamp set and then fussy cut them.
These were my stamped elements on which to then add the textural fabric flowers.
I also added the stamped and die cut sentiment to the centre of the tag.
I then added lots of the lovely sequins from a Hey Little Magpie embellishment kit and the trim at the top of the tag is also from a kit.
Love this funky and fun tag. Definitely a little bit different but I think it works!
