Festive Friday 2025 #39

Hello! Three days on the run of Christmas projects – feels like July again! Especially as I went back into the box of half made stash and found the #kcc19 envelopes I had cut and organised during my Christmas in July and decided to make a couple more of them up.

I decided to pull out the Woodward deer stamps and colour them in, fussy cut them out and use them for my focal points – I love that there are two different sizes.

Sketch 13 suggested circles in a horizontal stripe but I turned it into a diagonal stripe instead.

I also decided against the mat and background layers of plain cardstock and went for an abnormal amount of white space for me! Just not like me to leave so much plain!

I added the waxed thread under the sentiment banner and then added some of the dotty card candi.

Really love how this looks.

Next up is sketch 15 and again I did change it up a little!

There should have been a horizontal stripe with the sentiment on but instead I added three of the deer and then the two Tim Holtz sentiment stickers.

Embossing the back panel of the card topper meant I got some nice texture in the card front as well as those lovely deer.

Inside both cards I added a spare deer to finish off … I also added a small off cut leftover of one of the papers to one rather than throw it away!

Another lovely pair of cards made for the Christmas stash!

Happy crafting!

Catherine
