I decided I wanted to put a few of the papers from the Christmas pad together to create a card – and so I am sharing this sample I made as my Festive Friday for this week!
I created the four 2.5” inch squares and then lightly inked each of them with navy ink at the edges.
I then glued them onto the dark red solid I had from the pad – I trimmed it down so it was just the small border. I decided to use a ready made card blank for ease so stuck that down.
I chose the two presents from the acetate kit and the deer. I decided to mount the acetate sentiment onto some white cardstock and cut it out – this helped strengthen this element and give it a little dimension.
The presents I adhered directly to the background and then the deer to the banner.
I found some glossy enamel dots that coordinated with the colours in the papers and added these.
Confession … This card was made so long ago … it actually was also one of those “as seen on tv” projects too! Here it was on Hobbymaker on the 7th September!
