Martin gave us a sketch to play with today …
I decided to turn the sketch to make the horizontal strip a vertical one instead!
I decided to make a square card and used papers and die cut elements from the Christmas Tags and More dsp kit.
I used some waxed thread for hanging the baubles and then added in the die cut sentiment.
I added some glossy accents to the berries on the foliage elements and some shimmer pen to the sentiment.
Inside the card I added another panel of the paper and a little tag for decoration.
A simple and yet effective card and I think close enough to the sketch to count! Process video is uploaded on YouTube

That’s a great card! The gingham background works so well – I wouldn’t have thought to use that for a Christmas card
It’s so fun and bright – that gingham would work well for a summer based picnic blanket too!
