30 day Christmas card making challenge – day 28

Today’s theme didn’t immediately push me towards a specific project …

… but I went with peaceful vibes and some simple glitter glue elements.

I started with a panel of the light blue grey just smaller than the card blank I made and added just a light amount of ink to the edges and across the panel to slightly differentiate from the back.

I then took the new stencil I bought from Hey Little Magpie at the crop last weekend and used Gloss clear gel through it and then set it aside to dry.

Next I took the die cut wreath, stacked it twice to give it some strength and added blue promarker to the bow and then glitter glue to the stars and the bow. Again I set it aside to dry.

Once it was all dry – about 90mins later – I assembled the card. I added dimension behind the wreath die cut and then added the Peace die cut sentiment that I had already got in the stash that had the perfect colour background.

This was such a simple card to make – obviously it takes time for the medium to dry – but it really doesn’t take long or much to make an impressive card when you do add texture mediums.

Happy crafting!
