So I actually made this last Friday after sorting out many patterned papers etc for the 100 patterned paper challenge and for some reason I was feeling loathe to cut into papers and wanted to use scraps – so this was made using bits already cut into from the Christmas Tags and more papers.

I added the scrap strips to a piece of cardstock and cut it down to the right size for the card front.
I then used a brown pen to add stitching lines across the full panel turning it into a patchwork.

Next I created two tags with the cut apart panels by snipping the corners at the top and punching a hole for the ribbon.

I used a scrap of ribbon for the top and fixed it in place with the tiny attacher and then added the waxed thread as a bow to finish off.

I grabbed one of the doily’s on the desk and added that behind the tags and then adhered everything in place. I then grabbed the sentiment from the ready foiled ones in the stash and then added three clear gems to finish off.
Inside the card I added a couple of scraps of the paper leftover and turned them into little banners. I outlined with the same pen as on the outside and adhered them to the inside of the card blank.

So my second card made for this years Festive Friday and this time from those cute papers that had already been cut into! Chuffed with the fact I didn’t cut into something new – it feels like I was achieving some tidying up! 😂
Happy crafting!
