My lovely friend moved into her new home quite a while ago but we only just managed to see each other last night so could finally give her a card and present to celebrate her new home (also two Christmas presents were handed over as turns out we are rubbish at meeting up!).

I chose to use the cutie little house die to create a focal point and teamed it with papers from the stash that were from a Scrapbook page I made ages ago:

I thought the wooden cabinet pattern was good for a home card.
I also added in a bumpy border die cut and then the flourish type embossed die cut I bought last year and this is my first use of … looks like a sconce type of thing so again I thought quite house related.

I die cut the oval and embossed that too and then used the yellow colours to add some brightness to the card with both the mat and the enamel dots and of course the little jolly house.

Whilst the house itself isn’t exactly like Sue’s (🤣 – she doesn’t own a yellow and green house!) I did personalize it to her house number as a sweet little finishing touch!
Oh I also added some of that new braided trim I had bought to add in another texture.
Didn’t take a picture but inside I added some of the coral coloured cardstock and another hugs die cut to bring the outside design inside the card too!
Happy crafting (and of course happy new home Sue).
