Hello! I grabbed the pouch with the magazine kit in it that I have been working through most of last year as a series on YouTube and made another card.
I chose the largest panel of the papers left and cut it to be 4.5” square and then put the stencil from the kit onto it and pounced the versamark through it before then embossing it with gold.
This came out so much better than I even hoped and looks so shiny and elegant in real life.
I mounted this onto some purple cardstock. Then I chose a piece of the patterned paper with the hummingbird on it and cut that to a nice 3” square with a mount of the same purple too!
I then chose the sentiment from the stamp set and embossed that in gold too. I trimmed it down to have a similar border on each side and then added that to the topper with an overhang.
Both the topper and the sentiment were raised on foam to give some nice dimension.
I adhered this to the 6” card blank and left the outside at that – a really elegant and simple design I think!
Inside I did stamp both the hummingbird and the sentiment as a finishing touch.
So another card made and now I really am down to the smaller scraps – but I still think I could make a few cards from those – so suspect more cards yet to come in this series!
