I went back to the Christmas tags and More papers and made a simple card. Again I used smaller pieces to create a background, and then used a cut apart for the focal feature.
I did cut into a new sheet though for the background. I love that plaid background.
Adding just the small mat layers of the black and crumb cake I think created nice frames.
I added a scrap of the ribbon that was sat on the desk to the edge of the panel – this added a nice texture. I also added the card Candi as embellishment.
The sentiment is one I had already foiled and die cut – always good to have these to hand ready for use!
I did add an extra bit of sparkle – I used wink of Stella to the star and the baubles on the tree and also on the card Candi – it’s subtle but I love it!
Inside the card I added a panel of white and then added a strip of the plaid and a tree cut out of another cut apart.
Love how this came out – always good to create simple cards and cards using this kit are really simple!
