DT: Kingston Crafts – holiday background stamps

I’ve realised that these stamps are available over on Hobbymaker.tv so I can share the samples I made with them (didn’t realise that they were available!)

As soon as I saw this gorgeous tree based background stamp I wanted to do a varied colour stamping – although I decided to stick to teal and green to start I am thinking rainbow would also work well – and to stamp directly to the card blank.

After stamping using all the teals and greens I blended the central part with a pale turquoise and green to create a frame for the focal image. I also added a little splatter too!

I chose to use a digital stamp as my focal point along with a die cut embossed sentiment – but could have easily chosen a die cut shape or sentiment banner instead. But I thought the cutesy image worked well against the tree background.

I did raise the image and sentiment on foam tape and then added the sequins to finish off the card.

I think the trees are my favourite of the stamps in the set – although the words and the gingerbread people ones are towards the top – oh and the snowflakes 🤣

Basically it’s a great set with six great stamps!

Happy crafting!
