DT: Kingston Crafts – holiday background stamps

When you get a box of six different background stamps you want to try them all immediately! Well I didn’t quite do all of them but I managed a few to create a fun large background panel!

I masked off areas before I stamped and then went on with a blending brush to add ink inside the masked and stamped area to create a patchwork effect.

In doing this I managed to get the trees, snowflakes, presents and the words stamp all onto the same background.

I added little pen marks for faux stitching and then splattered the whole panel with the spritz for the dark blue shine!

I then added five of the vellum sentiment banners (you get so many in the pack it doesn’t feel wrong to use five in one go!) and then die cut some circles, inked them and added the little acetate reindeer to finish off!

So the stamping and masking was a bit fiddly but a fun way to get lots of pattern into the background!

Happy crafting!
