I stumbled across a mountboard panel on my desk so decided to make an inky card using it as a topper.
I started with a blend of yellow and brown inks smooshed on to the mount board. Then using archival ink I inked up a large wood mounted stamp from the stash.
I then added some extra definition with watercolour pencils. I also added some more ink to the edges.
Next I decided to add a little bit of stamping in the background of the mount board with text stamps but only lightly so it doesn’t show so well on the pics.
For the card blank I used a cream card blank and a strip of Kraft card which I embossed using the Old paper embossing folder. I stamped the very Versailles stamp across the back and then the Fancy phrases sentiment.
Once I had it layered up I added some subtle sparkle with a few drops of shimmer ink.
