I had a play with the Hanging Houseplant stencils from Altenew, although didn’t end up stamping the hanging parts as I hadn’t left enough room between the plants and also positioned the stencil at the top of the page so no room! Doh …

I also did the full stencil for the leaves in one colour and then moved it around to add the other colours so the leaf colours are different for them all. This worked well for creating four plants but not for being able to do a hanging version.
So instead I fussy cut them out and added them to the pots.
I decided to make some simple little cards to go in with future craft stash sales …

Took scraps of paper from the stash that fitted scraps of cardstock I made into little notecards … then just added the focal feature! I did add a scrap of brown that I ran through the wood grain embossing folder to make a shelf to one … that just helped ground the plant against the busy background.

So simple and so cute and the plant itself was relatively easy to layer up. The one that I did slightly off the top of the paper I also didn’t line up quite as well so just cut it out and it made a good piece to go underneath the plant to layer it up and give it a little more dimension.
One plant left to be used has been popped into a wallet for using at another time (always good to have something ready to go for a quick project).
Happy crafting!
