I really wanted to get as many of the glitters used for this one using the new set of glues from Kingston Crafts … so I pulled a little strip of rainbow striped paper and turned it into a banner.

I added coordinating glitter glue to each of the stripes … this was a little fiddly as a slight wobble of the hand can make it go out of the stripe but it was generally not too bad as it was only a 1” wide strip.
After putting that to one side I then worked on the background. I used the letter/number embossing folder to add texture but kept the colour simple as a purple block.

I also die cut a circle to add the focal points to.
For the focal point I added a sentiment from the rainbow paper kit and a heart and then decided to glitter them up too!

I then adhered it all together being super careful as I hadn’t left them to dry (I recommend having more patience than me!)

I think it makes a fun and colourful card! And it got to be seen on tv last Sunday … so you know what that means … yes it becomes an “as seen on tv” project.

Happy crafting!
