I needed today’s festive Friday card project to be a quick one when I sat down to make it – so out came the Christmas Tags and More speciality DSP once again! This is my go to for quick and easy cards – I still have a fair few sheets of the 6×6 left and still quite a few die cut elements too so suspect there will be more of these types of quick cards to go in this years festive Friday series!

I decided I wanted to use the Kraft coloured papers – I suspect these are crumb cake coloured! I distressed the edges and then lightly inked them with vintage photo.
Then I adhered them straight into the background which is a cream coloured heavy weight cardstock from the stash.

I then chose to add two of the die cut foliage sprigs to the wreath die cut and this created my focal point.
On my desk I had this Joy inked and die cut sentiment (this is the waffle flower overlapping words set) and decided now was the time to use it.
I added a thread bow just where the two sprigs met and then layered the sentiment over the top with some foam adhesive.

I then added some shimmer lines on the sprigs with my shimmer gel pen and some dots in the wreath. I also added glossy accents to the berries on the sprigs for some additional shine and texture.

Inside I added the remaining by pieces of the patterned paper I had cut for the front of the card. I inked them to give some definition but otherwise left it quite simple.

So a slightly rustic looking but still a modern card I think!
One thing I can say for definite about it though is that it was QUICK! Just had to wait for the glossy accents to dry!
Happy crafting!
