Hello! Time for another Festive Friday and this time I went back to the Christmas Tags and More speciality dsp kit but to make a card inspired by something I took screenshot of back in November last year.
I follow this lovely SU demo who goes by the name of PurtyPartay (such a fun name) and she does reels making cards and I love quite a few she did using this dsp and decided to have a go at this one!
I went with 3/4 inch strips which I made into banners and added them along the panel for the base (I didn’t emboss the background like she did although I think that would look cute). Then I trimmed the excess off the top.
Next I made a tag from the paper and some cardstock and threaded some ribbon scrap and some thread through for a cute bow and texture. I added the tag with foam at the top and then glued it at the bottom so it’s got a sloping dimension to it.
I added a bauble fussy cut from the sheet that has those on and then used two candy canes crossing on top of that with some foam adhesive for more dimension. I then gave those candy canes a generous coating of glossy accents.
For the sentiment I added in a vellum one from the Kingston Crafts kit which I added to cardstock and cut into a banner.
I adhered this with foam on the right hand side and then glue on the left.
Then I added some gems for finishing touches.
Inside I added one more banner and another bauble fussy cut out.
Love my cute version of the card that PurtyPartay made – she makes such fab cards and I think they are a bit different so encourage you to check her out!
