Today I am sharing of the other side of the bunting I decorated in Marie’s circle journal.
I started with some distress stain added to the bunting panel and a little bit of stamping using some background stamps.
Once dried I layered some glimmer paste through a stencil. I love how this paste shows through the colours it is layered on.
Next a little more stamping with the Lynne Perella stamps.
Next I stamped and coloured one of the Lynne Perella stamps and fussy cut her out.
Love how dramatic this girl is.
Next I added some splatter of the sparks paint to the background to add a little more contrast with the watercolour background.
And now to finish off… some mark making with pens.
And adding the girl and a quote to the top.
This is so different from the other side and I love it!
Lynne Perella stamps always remind me of Marie (she once did a design team project using them for the Paperartsy blog – this must be why!) So hope she likes my Lynne Perella piece.
