DT: Kingston Crafts – glitter glues, Festive Friday 2026 #18

Another card made using the fab glitter glues to step up my card into something super sparkly!

And yes I went Christmas! And yes the dies I am obsessed with! And because I am still in catch up land and still organising my room this is my Festive Friday for this week!

I went with something a bit different to create a fun background using the black glitter glue … I created some squiggly lines (I did use a stencil to guide me a bit so they are evenly spaced).

I then worked on the die cuts. I actually cut them all out of white cardstock and coloured them all with alcohol markers.

Once I had put them together in their clusters I then added the glitter glue – yellow to the centre, orange to the berries and pink to the larger pod type elements.

Again set them aside to dry as I know I am bad for keeping prodding at them as impatient to move on and then messing them up! 🤣

Once dry I added them to the panel and added the sentiment. I then stuck a couple of layers of scrap card stock under the panel to just slightly raise it above the card blank.

Delighted with this – so much sparkle and love how cool those lines are in the background!

Again this made an appearance on Hobbymaker.tv last weekend so it’s getting the title of “as seen on tv”.

I know first of the month is meant to be patterned paper but I think with everything going on I can be forgiven for putting that challenge and KCC challenge aside for a couple of months – I am sure normal service will resume soon – but for now I’m very much in catch up land!

Happy crafting!
