DT: Kingston Crafts – glitter glues

I made this pretty card to show two ways of using the glitter glue and guess what – it got to be an “as seen on tv” project!

Firstly I edged the panels with the glitter glue – this helps both define an edge and obviously adds sparkle. I added the pink colored glitter glue to this lilac card which I think worked well as it gave it a lovely tone without clashing!

The panel in the background I created using a stencil and blending tools – so pretty with all those flowers.

Then I also edged the die cut oval which again helps to define the edge and makes it stand out.

Secondly I added the glitter glue to the image to add detail and emphasis to the elements I ‘coloured’ with the glitterglue.

I chose to add this sticker from a Simple Stories sheet leftover from some scrapbooking and added the pink glitter glue to the flowers and clear to the butterfly.

I

Really pretty card and love how the light catches the sparkle on the edges.

And it was good to see it make an appearance on Hobbymaker back in April …

Happy crafting!
