Tonight Martin is back on Hobbymaker.tv so looking forward to sitting down with a cuppa to watch what he does with the fab products that Kingston are sharing. Imagine that there will be some fab bargains to be had … including the Everyday Card blanks which is what this blog post is about!
This time a card I actually think would be great for my Make it Masculine series but didn’t think to stick the video on to make it! 🤣
I originally saw this green patterned card in the stash and thought Christmas … but I decided to make a birthday card instead … but obviously you know that somewhere in the future these will appear as Festive Friday card bases! 🎄

I had some of my scrapbooking paper bits boxes open at the time and spotted this small panel of the cloud laser cut paper I had left and knew immediately I wanted to make a hot air balloon card!

I raised the small panel of clouds up on foam adhesive and then cut the hot air balloon from scraps of fun coloured cardstock.
I pieced it together and added it to the clouds with a bit of foam to the right where it hung over the side.
Then a foiled sentiment on another bright piece of cardstock and some little splat die cuts from the rainbow themed paper kit from Kingston Crafts that were leftover to finish off! I find these sort of embellishments are good for doing a card you don’t think gems would work on and yet you want an embellishment!

Really love how simple this card was to put together and the fun bright colours work well with the white panel on to add balance!
Happy crafting!
