I have only made one card using the magazine kit I bought so decided it was time to resurrect this project and made a simple but cute bee themed card.

I think the patterned paper is superb and I decided to enhance it with embossing with the stencil and then adding some ink through and some additional word stamping.

The bee is a cut apart from the paper so I glued it to some scrap cardstock before fussy cutting it. Then I added a motion spring behind (aka Boinger!) to give both dimension and movement.

Then I added the sentiment and a scrap of crochet trim and added two mat layers to the panel to frame it. I added it to the Kraft 5×7 card base and then added a white panel inside with some of the leftover paper and a little stamping.

I then finished the front with some glitter glue dots and some clear glitter glue for the wings on the bee. So sweet!

Lovely fun but super simple card because all the hard work went into the paper itself – I just added the texture and a little extra detail with the stamping.
And so a new playlist has been started over on YouTube for these two and any future cards I make from the kit!
Happy crafting
