My design team project for Addicted to Stamps and more was quite a simple one as I wanted to use a digital stamp I printed some time ago for a boy birthday card!
Isn’t that dragon riding boy image just the cutest?
I coloured the image with my promarkers and then cut it out to leave the white border. I wanted the dragon to look like he was soaring through the clouds so chose this clouds patterned paper from the Kingston Crafts slimline Kraft pack and cut it in a strip for the long thin card shape.
I added the background flat onto the card but then used foam adhesive to raise the dragon and his rider image up and the same for the sentiment which was a Waffle Flower one I stamped and die cut and stacked. I stamped it in blue so I could bring out some of the blue in the image.
I also chose the blue card Candi to bring that pop of colour!
Inside the card I added an offcut of the cloud paper and left the rest blank.
Cute!
So a simple one but I think effective as my birthday card for this fortnights challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!
