DT: Kingston Crafts – 12×12 kraft papers

The Kingston Crafts 12×12 Kraft pad is perfect for scrapbooking and this is the first page I made …

I did base my page on a page kit Sarah designed that I made a few months ago as I loved the layout. I chose the star for the background and the rainbow stripes for the triangles.

I then fussy cut two of the scalloped lines of a sheet of that to create borders for the triangles.

I went with simple after that … mounted my photo onto white and raised it on foam adhesive for some dimension.

I added my journalling on strips of white to go above and below the photo.

I found the perspective title in my stash that I thought worked well with the photo of me at Alton Towers waiting to go on The Smiler!

And then used the puffy star stickers from an Everyday Stories kit in different colours to embellish.

A far more simple layout than I normally make but with the pattern and the large photo with all those twists and loops of the rollercoaster it seemed like more would have been too much so I stopped the adding and decided enough was enough!

This one got shown on tv back in May! So funny to see myself on telly!

Happy crafting!
