I bought this set of stamps and dies (Concord & 9th) from Seven Hills to have some more masculine type themed dies and decided to make the Fathers Day card for my Dad from it!

My Dad isn’t massively into space travel (that’s my hubby’s thing!) but I figured this would still be a good card for him!
I used the turnabout stamp for the background stamping – although covered quite a bit of it up! Doh! And then used scraps of cardstock to die cut all of the elements out.

I then inked the planets and added stamping to the smaller ones and water splatters to the bigger one. I also inked the space rocket too and stuck it together.

I added dimension under the rocket and the smallest planet using foam adhesive and then a motion spring (aka Boinger) from Kingston Crafts for the sentiment.
I then adhered everything to the main square panel.
Then I chose the purple for a frame and added it to the patterned card blank from Kingston Crafts as a landscape card.

I added a die cut Dad sentiment too and then wink of Stella to the windows of the rocket for a tiny bit of shimmer!

I then die cut three small scraps with the star die and added those as embellishments!
A fun card and I hope my Dad appreciates it! I am collecting him and my Mum from a little holiday they’ve been on and can’t wait to see them safely home.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there – especially to mine and my lovely hubby who is a fab dad to our girl!
Happy crafting!
