This page I actually made a few weeks ago for (inter)national scrapbooking day where HLM Facebook group had a few challenges for us to scrap along with – this one was to use a grid layout!

Well I grabbed one of the page kits I had put together when packing up the craft room and using the #100patternedpaper challenge papers and some random embellishments which I found when decluttering – like those fab keys!

I used the papers to create squares which I distressed up and created a panel of 4×3 squares (each measuring 2.75” square).
Because it is such a busy background I then created a panel for the photos to sit on.

I added some cream cardstock into the mix and torn edges and then lots of rub ons from the terracotta set from 49&market.

The photos capture our cold case murder mystery night at CenterParcs in our lodge and so I thought the papers worked well with the images.

I had also added in some scraps of ribbon to add some softer elements.

I love how his page ended up – really good fun!
Happy crafting!
