Design team: Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge

Good morning! And happy new month.

With it being the first of the month it is time for me to share my contribution for this month’s Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challengeand this time I grabbed some papers from a set from Making Cards magazine from back in March and the stamps that came with the papers. I have used these before to make some other cards so it was nice to revisit the papers and image.

I decided to use a few of the papers but die cut only a small part of the image as I didn’t want the wine glasses part of the image… just the appearance of the friends hugging. This worked better with the sentiment.

I mat and layered papers with Tranquil Tide and white cardstock and then added it to a tent fold card blank I made.

I raised up the focal image onto some foam pads to give it some dimension and coloured it with promarkers.

Hope you like the card I made. Off to see what others have been up to with their patterned papers. Why don’t you join us on the blog this month?

Happy crafting!

Catherine
